enrollment. Students are not permitted to begin attending school until a tuition contract has been signed and submitted to the business manager.
If a tuition account continues to be delinquent during Semester II( and is not current to within 60 days by the end of Semester II), the school board reserves the right to withdraw the privilege of monthly installment payments for the next year. If the privilege of monthly installment payments is withdrawn, tuition must be paid in advance per semester for the new school year. Semester tuition due dates would be August 1 and January 1.
Additionally, if a tuition account becomes delinquent after re-enrolling a student for the following school year, the student’ s previously reserved seat is at risk of being made available to newly applying students. Re-enrollment and early re-enrollment discounts are only available to families who are up-to-date on tuition payments.
Tuition Aid
The Cornerstone Christian School extends Tuition Financial Aid to qualifying families based on financial need and the remaining amount budgeted for funding aid at the time of application. Interested families must indicate their intent to apply for tuition aid at the time of enrollment and complete a tuition aid application through our FACTS website. Tuition aid applications are assessed for financial need and are reviewed by the school’ s Finance Team. Final tuition aid awards are determined by the Finance Team under the authority of the CCS school board. Tuition aid is limited and not guaranteed, so applications should be submitted as early as possible. Tuition aid is funded through the school’ s board-sponsored fundraisers; these fundraisers also help subsidize the full tuition rates of all students.
Families that do not have secure access to a computer with Internet capability are welcome to use a secure and confidential computer with Internet access at the school. Families may contact the business office at 860-643-0792 to speak with the business manager to make arrangements or to ask any questions about the application process.

Timely tuition payments are necessary for the school to make its payments on time( to employees and vendors). When a payment is expected to be missed due to extenuating circumstances, parents are responsible for contacting the business manager right away to inform the school of the need to make the late payment. Late payments will be assessed late fees by FACTS( determined by FACTS) and the school($ 25 per late payment). The late payment is expected to be made within 30 days.
When a tuition payment is 60 days late, the student will not be permitted to enter the next quarter until the past-due payments are made in full, or the school board has approved a parent’ s written request to revise their payment schedule.( Such written requests must be submitted in writing to the Head of School at least one week before each monthly school board meeting.)
Additionally, tuition payments must be current by June 30 th to re-enroll for the following school year, and by the last day of the first semester to continue attending classes during the second semester. Enrollment will be suspended when tuition is not current for the most recently ended
