Drop-Off Locations
All Senior School students are to be dropped off and picked up off-campus and enter and exit the campus independent of parents / guardians , according to grade-specific areas . Senior School students have grade-specific areas in the school for arrival as follows :
School Hours
The Senior School doors open at 7:00 am for morning classes that begin at 7:15 am . Regular school hours are 8:20 am to 3:20 pm every day , except for ” Late Start Wednesdays ” when morning classes begin at 9:20 am . Many activities extend beyond regular school hours .

Entrance Main entrance off West 41st Avenue Gate F off West 41st Avenue ( Between the main entrance and Balaclava Street ) Gate H off West 41st Avenue ( Between the main entrance and Blenheim Street ) Gate D on Balaclava Street ; then proceed to courtyard entrance or the Applied Skills area Gate D on Balaclava Street ; then proceed to the Nancy Chan Courtyard entrance for class or the grad common room until class . For Grade 12 students with registered vehicles , they may enter through the parking garage .
In the Senior School , Late Start Wednesdays are scheduled weekly . Students are welcome to arrive on campus prior to the start of classes on Wednesday mornings and use the Wade Library for quiet study . Grade 9 to 12 students may also use the fitness centre according to the rules of this facility ( e . g ., trained on the use of equipment , working out with a buddy , sign-in / sign-out , etc .).
Special Schedules
Special events in the school require a revised schedule . Special schedules are published in advance on the Senior School Google Calendar , accessible by all students . Depending on the nature of the special event , the revised schedule will align with students ’ MySchool timetable ; however , at other times , the timetable will continue to reflect the general Monday to Friday class periods .
