Walk-in to the ECE / Junior School office :
• Upon arrival on campus , parent / guardian and student come to the ECE or Junior School office . Please ring the office doorbell when you arrive .
• The Student will sign in at the ECE or Junior School office before making their way to class . Signing in at the office is an essential safety step .
• A Student should not go directly to class .
Early Pick-up
While we ask families to minimize time away from school , we understand students may need to leave early to attend important appointments and commitments . Please email your daughter ’ s teacher and the ECE / Junior School office in advance if you know you will be collecting your daughter early . Ensure your daughter is aware of this change in her day , and Grade 1-7 students can create a reminder note of this change in their school agenda .
When leaving school early , a student should exit via the ECE or Junior School office , allowing the student to sign out before exiting campus . When collecting your daughter early , parent / guardian is welcome to drive into the roundabout and call the office , or walk-in to meet your daughter at the office .
Drive in and call :
• Upon arrival on campus , parent / guardian will call the Junior School Office ( 604-263-3256 ) or ECE Office ( 604-676-0457 ) from their car to alert us of your arrival .
• The office will call your daughter ’ s class to confirm you are here .
• The student will walk to the office and connect with a staff member to sign out .
• Once signed out , students will make their way to your car in the roundabout .
• The parent / guardian should not go directly to class to collect your daughter . Signing out at the office is an essential safety step .

We thank parents / guardians for their diligence in supporting their daughter in following these routines and ensuring all students are signed in or signed out as appropriate . It ensures students are accounted for in case of an emergency and that all visitors to the school enter and exit via the office .
Extended Care Program
CHS operates a supervised before-and-afterschool Extended Care Program to support working families . Staff members will sign students in as they enter and will sign them out when they are in their parent / guardian ’ s care . Pre-registration is required on a term-by-term basis . Children may be registered for any combination of days before and / or after school . The cost for use of this program will be charged to your account .
ECE CENTRE
Before-School Care
Before-school care begins at 7:30 am . When students arrive on campus early , they are supervised in the Junior Kindergarten classroom from 7:30 am to 8:20 am .
