Photo Sharing
Vidigami
Crofton House uses Vidigami as a tool for managing , sharing and archiving photos . All parents / guardians and students will receive an email invitation and password to Vidigami annually . When you receive your email , please initiate your password and explore the tool . Vidigami is easy to learn and intuitive to use . It is especially useful for collating photographs and albums for each student in the School . personal activities such as birthday parties or shared family holidays . The photos shared to Vidigami may be used for our newsletters , marketing material , presentations and social media . The types of photos that can be found on Vidigami include :
• Athletic events and activities
• Creative arts events and activities
• Music , concerts and the performing arts
• Outdoor Education and excursions
• Co-curricular activities
Mandarin Translation
Communication is optimized when Mandarin speaking members of our community are able to read or listen to information in their primary language . It is not always possible or expeditious to provide translation , however , and when this is the situation , English is the language of communication .
The School has developed a Mandarin Translation Strategy for families to know when they can expect documents and presentations to be available in Mandarin . In general , written documents intended for the whole school that are community building in nature are translated ( i . e . messages from the Head of School , the community newsletter , and those that outline expectaions of community members such as the Code of Conduct ). Simultaneous translation is available for whole school and parent-focused presentations taking place in either Manrell Hall or the Beedie Fine Arts Centre Theatre .
Crofton House maintains a page that has community news , important notices and featured blog content translated into Mandarin . Parents / guardians who wish to use this resource are recommended to bookmark the ‘ Community News in Mandarin ’ page for easy reference .
To support the School ’ s photo curation , all you have to do is take a photo , upload that photo to Vidigami and tag your daughter in the photo . We ask that photos are of school events and not
