SPORT All Foundation Phase pupils are required to participate in a minimum of an hour of sport every week. The coaches will keep a register, as this will count towards their physical education assessment for the term. All Intermediate and Senior Phase pupils are required to participate in at least one extramural each term. Summer sports run through the first and last term and winter sports during the second and third term. Children may participate in more than one sport code during a term, should the sports’ timetable allow for it. Please note that, although Foundation Phase extramural swimming lessons are only half an hour, they do count towards the weekly compulsory hour of sport.
