ORGANISATIONAL MATTERS COMMUNICATION Always keep in mind that parents and teachers make up a team. As teachers, our aim is to always give your child the best education possible. For this to happen, good communication between parents and teachers is essential.  Please use the diary/homework book to write messages to your child’s teacher - we check and sign these every day. Messages written elsewhere may not be found or seen by us during our busy classroom routine.  Sensitive messages are to be written separately and placed in a sealed envelope. Attach the envelope to the diary with a paper clip. Encourage your child to tell us if you have written a special message for us.  Money must be sent to school in a sealed envelope, marked with your child’s name and class.  If your child is absent, please do not forget to send a note to school explaining why your child has missed school, or call the office and leave a message.  Emailing is an easy way to communicate with us. Our school email addresses are available on the school website and D6 School Communicator.  Teachers often do not get the opportunity to look at emails until the late afternoon; therefore, it is not recommended that emails be used for urgent messages.
