Your digital reputation will follow you forever, in sports and in life. Make sure anything you post or share is something you want attached to your name forever.
Recognize the Risks
• The more you use digital devices and share content publicly, the greater the chance of encountering problems or unintended consequences.
• Images that emphasize flexibility or reveal private areas— even when clothed— are often targeted for manipulation by those with harmful intentions. These images are more vulnerable than group or wide-angle shots. If sharing photos of skills, choose angles that minimize the risk of misuse.
• Be cautious about online connections. Having friends or followers you don ' t personally know can be dangerous. Predators often pose as others to build trust and exploit relationships.
• Your digital reputation lasts forever— both in sports and in life. Always post with the awareness that your content may be tied to your name permanently.
