Use your social platform to be an ambassador of our sport. Ask yourself these questions before you post:
• Is it age-appropriate?
• Is it athletic?
• What does it amplify?
Social Media Safety Tips
• Post group photos instead of selfies to reduce the risk of photo manipulation.
• Choose images that highlight athleticism or artistry and add context( e. g., # Strong, # Focused) to convey your intent clearly.
• Select age-appropriate photos that reflect the skill and spirit of All Star.
If You See Something, Say Something
• Reporting means telling a trusted adult about unsafe behavior to get help. It’ s not snitching— it ' s protecting yourself and others.
• Report harassment or stalking to local police.
• Report suspicious images or exploitation to the CyberTipline at 800.843.5678.
• Report inappropriate content( bullying, hate speech, explicit posts) to the platform and block the user.
Watch for Online Red Flags
• Unsolicited messages from strangers
• Requests for personal info
• Impersonation
• Inappropriate or violent content
• Receiving explicit images
• Any sign of child exploitation
