1. Children placed as Home For Life/Permanency, placements are (sometimes many months or years) removed or transitioned home before court orders a made.

2. Failure of cyfs social workers to insure good basic practice result in families fighting for their rights to raise a child who genetically belongs in their family. (Think about this wouldn't you fight long and hard if you found out a family member was being raised out of family) Meaning your now involved in some long court battles that take its toll on everyone (including the child).

3. Abusive family members, attacks and harassment can greatly impact your family in every way.

4. As the child grows issues brought about by attachment issues, D&A impact while in utro begin to show (sometimes after many years) and the cost that continues to grow due to the need for added help with education and counselling etc

5. The power struggle issues with parents, access, return to fighting for return of children now directed at you because you hold shared guardianship. The right for the child to build relationships with extended family. Dealing with mental health family members or gang/crime related issues. The need for access (fortnightly, monthly or several times a year) year after year after year. Impacting employment options, shifting, and many other aspects of your life.

Issues arise with different placements
