I always envisioned writing a book on the
game’s history. As we have clearly moved
into a time where video dominates the
world of media I began shifting my focus to
learning the art of producing and directing
a documentary film. Having worked with
GoSports for two years increased the
learning process exponentially. Two years
ago I began writing the storyboard for what
I thought at the time would be an hour-long
documentary film that we would release
on our YouTube channel. As we gathered
all of the data, stats, interviews, stories and
information we have been collecting for
decades and organizing it for a future film
it quickly became obvious this couldn’t be
done well in an hour YouTube documentary.
As a team at Paintball.Media we realized the
only way to do justice to this unique industry
was to go all in.
