`Anti ' means to `stand up against .' Satan has always worked through those who refuse to come to God who stand up against God and His truth , ut as Satan sees his time running out , he will increase his opposition to God . The intensity of Satan ' s hatred for God will show itself in the rage , arrogance , and evil of the Antichrist . It will be through the Antichrist that Satan will reveal his most heartfelt desire . That desire is to be worshipped as God . The Bible talks about this in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 —
