Community Transit Merrill Creek, Administration Building Renovation Lighting | Everett, WA
P2S provided electrical and mechanical engineering, along with lighting design, to renovate the Merrill Creek Administrative Office Building. We replaced all building systems including fire sprinkler, plumbing, HVAC, power, lighting, and fire alarm. Our team also provided new receptacles, LED lighting, lighting controls and fire alarm systems throughout the building. LED lighting replaced the existing site lighting for the expanded parking lot.
P2S upgraded electrical service to accommodate the change in space function and renovated spaces. We also provided power to all new mechanical and plumbing equipment in the building. The HVAC system is a High- Performance Variable Air Volume( HPVAV) system.

This facility also has a data center with redundant cooling systems. The entire facility has backup power with a new diesel fire emergency generator.
Our lighting studio designed the illumination scheme for seamless architectural integration with a serpentine cove, 4-layers of lighting in the conference room, acoustic solutions and intuitive distributed network controls. When it came to spaces with special ceilings like conference rooms, or in this case the open office, the ceiling system was designed for sound absorption. Our acoustic lighting specification ensured the fixtures did not compromise acoustic performance while still providing proper illumination.
