Community Service
The leadership teams at Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Dallas and Fort Worth are committed to the mission of giving back to the community by providing health education and screenings to the broader community and to neighborhoods identified as needing biometric screenings . In fiscal year 2018 , the hospital teams conducted more than 20 community cholesterol and / or blood pressure screenings . Hands-only CPR took center stage for community outreach . Hospital representatives provided hands-only CPR instruction to school districts , police departments , employers , community organizations , and others . Thousands of residents learned this new approach to CPR .
