When we mention the touris trade, people instantly think about the understanding between nations. It can be said that it helps the nations know more about each other and open up their minds; however, people are often placed under certain sterotypes which doesn't allow us to know actually how they are. This is why it can be seen from different points od view.

On the one hand , it is assumed that the tourist trade contributees absolutely nothing to increasin understanding between nations. This mostly happens because of stereotypes. Local people tend to judge tourists from other cultures as they are seen in the community they live in. The Test- yourself Theory explains perfectly how these misleading stereotypes begin. If you take five countries with different cultures and match them with five totally different adfectives , you will arrive to the conclusion that the matches you make are from what you hear , not from what you experience. Therefore, as there are tourists fom very rich cultures, they tend to be protected, so they don't really get to experience the country's tourism completely. But this protection makes the touris move around with greater confidence.

On the other hand , the world today opens doors for toursts since barriers now a days are breaking down more that they used to. Tourism increases the interest in learning languages, different languages which allow the tourists to move around, understanding more about where they are.

Even though most toursits tend to be protected in fancy hotels, there are other tourist who didn't required that kind of protection when they travel. The tourists protected are mostly old , rich, people.

We can come to the conclusion that in every country there is tourist trade and no matter how you see it , it is a bonus for national economy. Even though there are some coments avout how it doesn't help nations adquire understaning about each other, tourism is a mind opener for everyone who gets the chance to experiement it.
