kitchens where her experience with their clients
was completely different.
Kim even answered a plea for volunteers to do
holiday crafts with our kids. As a former preschool teacher, Kim loves working with children
and signed up immediately to give even more
of her time. She spent several hours with our
Little Learners making paintings and picture
frames. Everyone had a wonderful time, and at
the end of the day every child went home with
a hand-crafted framed picture of themselves to
be treasured by their families for years to come.
When asked what inspires her to stay involved,
Kim says “Our House works. It makes sense. It
breaks the cycle of homelessness. When you
see the results of what Our House can accomplish, it inspires you.”
