The author presents her vision of the Hurro-Urartian protolanguage.
Characteristic of it was the presence of three sets of consonants (simple,
geminate/tense, glottal/abruptive), the division of the substantives into the
active and inactive and of the verbs into the active and stative classes, the
distinction of the alienable and inalienable possession, the unmarkedness of
the core constituents of the clause, the opposition of the near and distant
object.
