Paolo Castracane

EXPERTS
Paolo Castracane joined RHEA Group in
September as a scientific support engineer.
He works for the IDEAS+ contract at
ESRIN. Over the past five years, he has
been involved in Sentine l-2 and Sentinel-3
missions while extending his background
as AIV manager and system engineer. After
attaining his degree in Physics, he acquired
a PhD and a post-doctorate position at the
University of Rome La Sapienza, Italy, then
subsequently entered the field of satellite
remote sensing in the space industry.
Veronica La Regina
Strategy and Business Developer
Noordwijk, the Netherlands
Veronica La Regina joined RHEA Group
in July as a strategy and business
developer officer for ESTEC.
Before
joining the company, she worked as a
senior researcher at the Italian Space
Agency. Formerly, she has worked as
research professor at the International
Space University in Strasbourg, France.
She holds a master’s degree in electronic
engineering with a specialization in
systems engineering from the University
Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy.

Mihai Borsi
Software Engineer
Darmstadt, Germany Daniel Zugasti
Egnos Program Control Engineer
Prague, Czech Republic
Mihai Borsi joined RHEA Group as a
software engineer in September. He
will support the EGS-CC software
development team at the company’s
offices in Darmstadt, Germany. Before
joining RHEA Group, he worked in several
space industry projects for the European
Space Operations Centre, in Germany, and
the European Space Research Institute,
in Italy. Mihai graduated with a degree in
automation and applied informatics from
Bucharest Technical University of Civil
Engineering in Romania. Daniel Zugasti joined RHEA Group in
September as an Egnos Programme control
engineer for the European GNSS Agency.
He holds eleven years of experience in
the air traffic industry. Daniel is a project
manager with cross-functional expertise
in ATM/CNS systems. His experience
combines strong technical and managing
skills with a business approach to ensure
projects are delivered efficiently, on time,
and at the required quality standards in
order to meet the end users’ operational
requirements.
