Vincent Van Dongen Senior Manager, Business Development Security Services Wavre, Belgium Vincent Van Dongen joined RHEA Group in October as a Senior Manager of Business Development Security Services. His main role will be to identify and secure new business opportunities in cybersecurity. Vincent holds more than 25 years of experience in IT, mainly working in payment services and security. Vincent holds an engineering degree and a PhD degree in computer science from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium. Carlo Zelli Senior PDGS Engineer Frascati, Italy Carlo Zelli joined RHEA Group in September as a senior project manager for Earth Observation projects. He has over 25 years’ experience in conducing space related projects. His technical expertise ranges from design of microwave instrumentation, radars and radiometers for earth observation and deep space missions to payload data ground segments, processing, and CalVal facilities design. Carlo holds a master’s degree cum laude in electronics engineering. Sakis Kotisis Diegem, Belgium Hernán Tiraboschi EPS SG System Interfaces Engineer Darmstadt, Germany Sakis Kotisis joined RHEA Group in August as a senior software developer to support the development of the European Ground Systems–Common Core (EGS- CC) project. Over the past three years, he worked as a chief technology officer for SciGen Technologies Inc., a Greek company providing software solutions for the international conference industry. Sakis graduated with a degree in computer science from the Univerisity of Patras, Greece. Hernán Tiraboschi joined RHEA in August as an interface engineer for EUMETSAT´s EPS-SG project. Before joining RHEA Group, he worked as developer, analyst, and project leader for several software projects until 2007, when he joined the Argentinean Space Agency as a ground segment system engineer. There, he coordinated the ground segment development and integration for the Aquarius/SAC-D project. Hernán graduated with a degree in computer science from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Domenico Schiavulli Image Navigation and Registration Engineer Darmstadt, Germany Stefano Lagrasta Galileo Ground Segment Operations Support Prague, Czech Republic Domenico Schiavulli joined RHEA Group in October as an image navigation and registration engineer. Before joining RHEA Group, Domenico worked as sensing researcher at Observatoire Midi Pyrenees in Toulouse, France. Prior to that, he worked as space engineer at Starlab in Barcelona, Spain. Domenico graduated with a degree in telecommunication engineering from Politecnico of Turin, Italy, in 2009. He holds a PhD in space radar remote sensing from the University Parthenope of Napoles, Italy. Stefano Lagrasta joined RHEA Group in August as Galileo ground segment operations support. He supports Galileo performance assessment and operations at the European GNSS Agency (GSA). He has worked in the space industry for 22 years. Before joining RHEA Group, he worked as designer and developer of the satellite Attitude, as well as for different orbit control systems, flight dynamics systems, and navigation-related systems.
