It covers the procurement of R&D services for the design, prototype development,
and pilot use of innovative hybrid cloud services.
The tender operates as a competitive development with contracts being awarded
to multiple contractors for each of the design, prototype development, and pilot
phases. RHEA Group and its subsidiary SixSq have been awarded one of the
four design phase contracts, together with its leading cloud provider partners,
T-Systems and Exoscale. The proposal has been selected from a total of 28
multinational companies, SMEs, and public research organizations from 12
