CONFERENCE SPEAKERS Justin Crick Partner, RGL Forensics [email protected] Justin Crick is a Partner in the London office of RGL Forensics, a global forensic accounting and consulting firm. Working with many of the leading global insurance companies, loss adjusters and law firms, Justin has quantified business interruption losses in over 70 countries. He has been involved in more than 600 large and complex international assignments involving multi-million pound losses. With over 17 years of claim experience Justin brings financial perspective across a wide range of industries including oil & gas extraction, refining, petrochemicals, power generation, mining and manufacturing. Recognised as a leader in the field of forensic accounting, he is frequently asked to present at conferences around the world, covering issues specifically relating to business interruption and the quantification of economic losses. Hugh Kennaway Director, Matthew Daniels [email protected] Hugh has over 25 years loss adjusting experience having worked in the London Reinsurance market, Thailand, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. He is a Chartered Insurer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters. Hugh now has Global responsibility for Non Marine at Matthews Daniel. Hugh is an experienced machinery breakdown, property and business interruption adjuster in the power and energy sectors. He has dealt with property and liability claims worldwide including many power, refining and petrochemical losses. Additionally, he has handled many claims on construction and operational projects principally in the power, oil, gas and energy sectors. He led the adjustment team on the Vasilikos Power Station explosion in Cyprus which occurred in July 2011. This large claim was agreed and subrogated in 14 months. He also led the adjusting team on the June 2015 Rosneft Achinsk refinery loss in Central Siberia which was closed in 17 months and a large petrochemical loss at Lukoil in February 2015 which was settled in 14 months. IeC has built a reputation as trusted commercial advisers with a global focus, and its clients include many of the world’s major companies and investors. Paul writes the ICIS ‘Chemicals & the Economy’ blog, and is co-author of the influential ebook ‘Boom, Gloom and the New Normal’. Paul is a regular speaker at international conferences, and writes regularly for the Financial Times and other leading media. He was widely recognised for his foresight in warning of the 2008 financial crisis. Paul is an invited member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Future of Chemicals, Advanced Materials & Biotechnology 2014-2016. He is also a Member of the Energy Institute, and a Freeman of the City of London Previously, Paul was an Executive Director of a major global chemical business for ICI, where he worked from 1978 – 1995.
