John Lloyd was a founding partner of Lloyd Thompson in 1981 , Chairman of Lloyd Thompson Group PLC from 1993 until the merger with Jardine Insurance Brokers in 1997 .
He has subsequently been Chairman of JLT Risk Solutions , Chairman & CEO of Lloyd & Partners and more recently CEO of JLT Specialty until he retired from any executive role at the end of 2015 .
He remains with JLT in a senior advisory role and he has recently been appointed as an Independent Director of Ascot Underwriting .

background gaining his industrial experience with a worldwide construction group . Ian has experience of adjusting energy insurance claims across a broad portfolio of disciplines for downstream , mid-stream and upstream assets in Europe , Russia , The Middle East and West Africa .

Mike has almost 40 years of experience in the power industry with a good solid technical background primarily focussed on O & M matters related to large fossil fired power plants .
He holds and MSc in Advanced Engineering and has held a variety of senior management positions on both Power Plants and Transmission and Distribution Systems with broad overseas experience .
He now focusses on Transmission and Distribution and Concentrated Solar Power .
