When Eamonn first started coaches us I never missed a session because of how much the intensity changed, getting to know both is so easy but leaving them was even harder.
Leaving a club that I have been with for 3 years is tough especially with Rani Cavaretta who I have been playing football with for over 7 years.
The experienced I have gained from such talented players such as Sarah Fitzgerald.
The friendships I have maintained with all the Olympia girls I will never forget.
What other clubs have you previously played for?
As a youngster I started playing in my home town for two years. My first Club was originally New Town Eagles then moved onto my first year with the State team. From there I was lucky enough to represent TIS (Tasmanian Institute of Sport) for 4 years. Coming out of TIS I went straight into Olympia for two years and then made it over into a Melbourne WPL side, unfortunately I was unlucky with the job side of things, therefore played another year at Olympia.
You have previously been approached by South Hobart to organise a Women's side. Is that something you would like to be part of in the future?
I was asked to help organise a women's side for the 2014 season.
There were a number of females that were interested in the club starting up a women's side again. South Hobart have such a fantastic committee and I would be more than happy to help them out again in the future.
At such a young age you have achieved a fair bit. Is it hard to stay motivated?
Staying motivated can be hard yes but as soon as you step into the change rooms, Boot your boots on, I know I'm in the zone. Football has been a massive part to my life and will be for years to come. Having friends in the team that support you is a huge part of the game.
For me motivation comes from inside and it doesn't take much for those few special people to motivate me.
What is still on your radar in regards to your career?
I am very happy with life at the moment I have a steady job great friends, family and a boyfriend who loves me and will support me with whatever decisions are made.
South Melbourne Football Club have said I am welcome to come back anytime so if I were to go anywhere on the mainland I would gladly chose them.
But for now I would like to stick around in Tassie and give it my best with Zebras and hopefully see the Women's Premier League in Tasmania pick up as we are now picking up some quality players in each club around the state.
Tilford Zebras coach John Moutsatsos is obviously quite excited by the signing "Mady is obviously a quality footballer and we are delighted to have her at Tillford Zebras. She has fitted into our squad beautifully. We have not put any pressure or expectations on Mady. We just want her to enjoy the game. If she does that I'm sure we will see Mady at her best this year."
Mady played 21 matches last year for Olympia with 7 goals. This was quite an achievement considering she played the whole season in central defence.
