mix of modern, quirky and dramatic
– hence the colour combinations and
mix of simplistic shapes with statement
accessories. Note: You may find you are more than
one of the above therefore your style
could require a mix of these ideas as I
have.
Personality Styling Tips
If you are a fun person make sure you
have something that brings a smile to
your face e.g. floral prints, statement
accessories, a vibrant colour or a quirky
style eyewear frame.
If you are more serious and practical
embrace that in more structured styling,
well cut clothes, garments featuring
angles and tailored lines.
If you are creative, have something
interesting even home made or sourced
from a market or op shop. For example;
crochet earrings, be-jewelled jacket,
vintage clothing piece.
If you find you are more ‘go with the
flow’ then bring that into your
wardrobe too. Try a loose flowy skirt,
unstructured jacket or kimono style
wrap, chiffon scarf or a feminine
blouse. 3
Be Confident
You have probably have heard it
before but it is worth saying again
“co nfidence is key”. Be confident in
who you are and what you wear. If you
are being true and genuine then you
should not be afraid of what others
think. If however, you lack confidence in
shopping and are not sure what colours
or styles are best for you then make it a
priority to “play” a little and experiment
with clothes, colours, accessories and
makeup. You may be surprised at what
you will find you love and what loves
you! Or maybe you need to seek some
professional assistance. Nobody is born
with style and there is absolutely nothing
wrong with investing in yourself and
learning how to “enhance your natural
beauty” correctly.
I hope I have set you on the right path
to finding a style that is true to you and
this stage in your life. Just remember,
your style is your own and one that is
unique to you! Use these 3 steps to help
define yours but most importantly…
have fun, love and be confident in what
you wear – it is the extension of you
no matter what stage of life you find
yourself at.
Vibrantly yours, Jordi x
