The Imperfect Sheep Lizzie Mushaben, Mercy McAuley Imagine being a little Latin I again, and you're learning all of this new grammar, some of which you don't even know how to do in English! O-ver- whelming. That's what this guy, the Imperfect Sheep, is for! As we all know, when 'ba' is in a verb, it's imperfect - back in the past. The Imperfect Sheep helps you remember to go back to the past because he's had a rough one - he's missing an eye and a leg! He also helps you remember that 'ra' takes you back into the past too. That's why he has a pom-pom and is cheering! Like cheerleader, he goes "ra-ra-ra!" Hence, the Imperfect Sheep was born! We liked him so much (and he's pretty iconic) so he is our club mascot! He's also the reason why Mercy McAuley’s newsletter is called The Shear Truth - because you shear a sheep!
