SA Area, State & National Store of the Year – Officeworks Marion (SA) Vic 1 Area Store of the Year – Officeworks Traralgon (Vic) Officeworks Marion (SA) has achieved a fantastic financial result this FY. This has been achieved by the team’s high level of merchandise execution and customer service focus. A mystery shop score of 96.4% (second nationally) and a GSS of 8.5. With a focus on team member safety, the Marion team’s safety record is outstanding with 0 injuries since 2012. The team at Officeworks Traralgon (Vic) had a result of $8 million of sales – a nine per cent increase on the previous year. Our customers also showed their appreciation for the fantastic service they received at the store with the store achieving a GSS of 9.53 – the highest in the VIC 1 area. The team delivered a green/ green audit score for the ninth year in a row. The Marion community are continuously sharing with us how the involvement by the store has helped make bigger things happen. John and the team focuses on helping make bigger things happen in their local community, with a lot of time spent working with the community on local causes. WA Area & State Store of the Year – Officeworks Hay Street (WA) Officeworks Hay St (WA) in Perth CBD has a highly engaged and cultured team who have been helping make bigger things happen through their service and store execution. This includes mystery shopper at 96.6% and GSS at 8.55. The store has reported no injuries for the year and has recorded a green/green audit. The store consistently delivers strong store standards and in stocks. The development of the team is front of mind and the store had a participant in the SBMIT program and two participants in the CIT program. Well done to the whole Hay Street team. Vic 2 Area & State Store of the Year – Officeworks Preston (Vic) The team at Officeworks Preston (Vic) had a sales growth of 7.4% and an EBIT growth of 11.25%. The team delivered a back to back green/ green audit and had a 0 AIFR for the second year in a row. Angelo and the team also delivered more than 80% for mystery shop for the year and an increase on last year showing continuous improvement – they also had a GSS score of 8.1. Vic 3 Area Store of the Year Winner – Officeworks Waurn Ponds (Vic) David and the team at Officeworks Waurn Ponds (Vic) had extremely strong sales with the sales versus sales budget being $6.8m vs $5.7m – a 120% increase on last year. Waurn Ponds have had a back to back green/green audit which they have held since opening in December 2016, and for the second year in a row 0 AIFR injuries. Learning pathways for the store has been at more than 95% for all scheduled training throughout the year. The team had a mystery shop result of more than 80% for the year and a GSS score of 9.15. NSW 1 Area Store of the Year – Officeworks Punchbowl (NSW) Officeworks Punchbowl (NSW) is living Our Purpose by focussing on helping making bigger things happen for its customers, team and community. The store has improved all key metrics on last year and have also lead the area group in deliverables. The store has lead the way with Training and Development with producing Store Business Manager in Training and Coordinator in Training. The Punchbowl team has excelled across the board with their community involvement and finished as the number one ranked store nationally for funds raised for the Back to School Appeal.
