And so she escapes the rundown rural orphanage where she lives and flees to Paris. There, she is taken in by the school’s caretaker Odette – a kindly lady who once shared Felicie’s ambitions of becoming a dancer, but whose own dreams were crushed. Odette sees great potential in Felicie and agrees to train her. Can the feisty teenager overcome all odds and become a ballerina? Featuring the voices of Elle Fanning (as Felicie) and Dane DeHaan (as fellow orphan Victor), this beautifully made animation has a wonderful message at its heart.
