Written by Miss Charles Leadership and Sport and Rec Training days with active schools
The leadership through sport class and the Sport and Rec class attended the riverside arena in Ayr with Active Schools on Monday and Wednesday this week . The classes completed numerous courses and will receive 6 certificates . They participated in a variety of courses including Handball , football , playground Games , reaction time , throwing and Catching and a Disability Inclusion course . These qualifications will equip the Marr college pupils with knowledge and skills to enable them to deliver at the feeder primary and throughout the Marr Community . All pupils who participated represented Marr College , demonstrating leadership and initiative .
Hockey
Marr Hockey is Back ! The girls have played two games so far against Glasgow Academy and Lomond school . Well done to all who represented Marr College ! Welcome and well done to the New S1s who played their first competitive game on Saturday . They showed teamwork , resilience and determination .
