Sunday Sun
on the Move
During the ‘Sunday Sun on the Move’ Promotion in February and
March, the Nation Circulation team got a chance to interact with
readers. Each Sunday, the team visited different neighbourhoods
and gave prizes to individuals spotted with the Sunday Sun
newspaper. The Nation team also got to view a variety of home
gardens, including one belonging to Priscilla Sealy from St. John,
who received the 1st place prize in the Traditional Garden category
at the Independence Secretariat Gardening Competition held
during Barbados’ 50th Anniversary. In total, over 30 readers were
spotted and presented with prizes during the six weeks of the
promotion.
Nation Promotion at RUBIS
In March 2019, the Circulation Team visited the Sunset Crest
RUBIS service station as part of on-going promotions held in
collaboration with RUBIS. The team used the promotion to
interact with members of the public, who received special
giveaways and offers on Weekend Nation papers and issues of
March’s Better Health Magazine.

Nation Group at Agrofest
At this year’s Agrofest, the Nation Group was represented by
both Nation Publishing and Starcom Network. Individuals were
encouraged to download the Nation News and Starcom radio
station apps for a chance to win cash prizes. Agrofest attendees
