DREAM BIG EXPO
2019 saw the OCM network of local media outlets in radio, press
and television, partnering with the Dream Big Foundation, where
we showcased the diverse industry that is media to kids and
adults alike, educating and enticing them with various facets of
our industry. Attendees had the opportunity to be an anchor for
a bit and read the actual news script in a specially designed mini
TV6 studio. There was also the opportunity to learn and practice
what it is like to be an announcer or host and DJ on Hott 93.
This international conference was held on May 3rd, at the Centre
of Excellence in Macoya. At this event, career seekers, parents,
teachers and students alike, were able to come together and
experience a plethora of opportunities which exist in fields such
as academics and industry, fashioned in a manner that made it
exciting and educational.
