Forever I Do
WEDDING COMPETITION, EXPO AND SEMINAR
Under the theme ‘Beyond
the Big Day’, the 18th
instalment of the Nation’s
Forever I Do Wedding
Competition was launched
in April, 2019.
Couples from throughout Barbados
entered the competition with five
pairs selected as finalists by the
panel of judges. Over the course of
five weeks, their love stories were
published in the Sunday Sun and
readers voted for their favourite
contestants.
this year’s winners, Roger Moore and
Nikita Boyce, were revealed much to
the delight of their family, friends, and
the audience. The winners, who were
chosen based on the judges’ scores
and readers’ votes, received various
prizes from a number of sponsors
including LIAT, Sunbury Plantation,
and Harrison’s Cave. Their wedding is
carded for December 2019.
The competition culminated with an
expo and seminar on Sunday, May
19. A staple in the Barbados social
calendar, the event drew hundreds of
couples and individuals interested in
interacting with some of the country’s
best providers of food, entertainment,
travel, event venues, photography,
technology, accessories, and beauty.
