St Dominic’s School is a special academy in Surrey and provides outstanding
education for pupils aged 7-19 typically with a primary diagnosis of Speech Language
& Communication Needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition. The school is located
in Hambledon, close to Witley, Milford, Guildford and Godalming.
St Dominic’s School is part of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust (OHC&AT),
a specialist Trust with 12 Academies and seven College Centres across London,
Surrey and Sussex.
At St Dominic’s we believe passionately in a multi-disciplinary, ‘needs led’ approach to
meeting each child’s and young person’s needs, resulting in carefully managed groupings,
including specialist intervention work from our in house therapeutic team.
The school works closely in partnership with families, referring authorities and external
agencies to co-ordinate the best possible education, care, guidance and support for
its pupils and students.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and strongly motivated individual to join our
experienced team providing intensive specialist support for pupils and students
including autism and sensory processing disorders. We seek a Highly Specialist
Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner who wants to develop
their career, skills and knowledge in a specialist educational setting from Key Stage
2 to 5.

therapeutic skills creatively to meet the needs of pupils and students. In return we

Due to new investment we are developing our mental health
crisis response provision in Oxfordshire.
Our new service will be consistent with the nationally defined Crisis
Resolution Home Treatment Team clinical model. Crisis Clinicians
will be instrumental in establishing the service and then delivering
intensive home treatments, alongside senior support workers, to
service users in their own place of residence.
You will be a registered occupational therapist with substantial
experience and a proven track record in demonstrating Trust values
in delivering services. You’ll have excellent clinical assessment and
risk management skills and be able to work flexibly and dynamically
in challenging and changing circumstances.

service provision for service users and their families / supporters.
