DOTS Disability CIC
This two-day OCN London accredited course provides
competence and confidence to enable staff to assess for,
prescribe and install (simple aids of daily living) equipment. Our
training was developed with funding from the Office for Disability
Issues. We are able to offer training to groups from our Dorset or
London venue, or at your venues around the country. Venue: The

GripAble: New technology for upper limb
ACPIN
GripAble is a simple handheld device for upper limb rehabilitation
that works with games and activities to facilitate hand and wrist
function. This workshop with cover the concept, development
and potential of the device, the clinical application and current
research projects and a demonstration and opportunity to use the
device in small groups with other workshop participants and

20 years and is in the vanguard of innovation. Our lead IMA
clinician will give a presentation on experience from SHA local
authority clients and assessors since the DfT guidance was

The assisting hand assessment version 5.0, a new
perspective on evaluating hand function in children
with unilateral impairments 18 months to 18 years

The Assisting Hand Assessment (AHA) is now a well-established
evaluative tool to measure how effectively children with unilateral
hand dysfunction actually use their involved hand collaboratively
with their well-functioning hand to perform bimanual tasks. Two
and a half day course. Venue: Whittington Education Centre,
