YEAR 3 & 4 EVENTS

Year 4 Assembly - Dr. Tim & Friends

A part of P.S.H.E. we have been learning about the British Values. To help us remember what they are and mean our children have created characters for DR TIM each representing one of the British Values.

Year 4 wrote scripts for short plays to teach the children what Dr. Tim stands for.

Well done Year 4!

Roman Roads

In History this term we have been learning about the Roman Empire and its Impact on Britain.

The children learnt the Romans were famous for their long, straight roads. You can still see some Roman roads today, two thousand years after they were built.

The Romans wanted better roads so their troops could move from one place to another quickly. Th Emperor had more control if messages could be sent quickly. It was useful to have better roads as supplies could be sent to different areas of the country. It also meant better links between places when trading goods.

Year 4 had a great time building models of their very own Romans roads. The children worked well together pairs to produce some fantastic models.
