Year 1 & 2 events
Year 2 celebrated World Book Day by making the props and costumes of their favourite characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
After some rehearsals, they got to act out their favourite character from a chosen chapter to an audience from Year 5.

For World Book Day, the Year 6 children visited Year 1 and read some stories to the children.
Year 1 really enjoyed listening to the stories being read to them. In the afternoon, they made elephant masks and acted out the story from 'Elma the Elephant'.
