RAINBOW HOUSE AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS
Servicing vehicles for those
serving our communities.
NWTC-Marinette campus Automotive
Technician program instructor, Wally Remic,
is always looking for ways to connect
the campus to the community at any
opportunity possible. Pairing classroom
learning with the incorporation of the NWTC
Marinette Trades Club, automotive students
have been completing repairing vehicles for
non-profit organizations free of charge.
One of the longest standing partnerships
has been between the campus and the
Rainbow House, with students regularly
repairing the organization’s primary
vehicle. Students regularly complete basic
maintenance such as oil changes, tire
rotations, brake work, and tune-ups.
The Rainbow House provides domestic
abuse intervention and prevention services,
education, and information to communities,
families, and schools. They believe that
