PARTNER AGENCIES NTFB works closely with more than 200 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other facilities to ensure that we get nutritious food to those who need it. Our Partner Agencies are on the front lines of hunger serving as our most trusted allies as we work to curb the meal gap. These agencies played a huge part in our efforts to provide access to some 70 million meals to clients across the 13 counties that we serve. Currently, 83 percent of the food NTFB distributes goes through one of our Partner Agencies. In addition, NTFB also helps agencies identify retail partners in their area that can give food to local stores and agencies. Because our Partner Agencies are such an integral part of the Food Bank, we want to ensure they have the best training available. In FY16, NTFB retooled our Agency University program, offering free courses available for Partner Agency leaders. We will continue to work in lockstep with our partners to bring the right food to the right place, at the right time for our clients.
