Traveling Tourists

Tour Chicagoland’ s hot spots as you enjoy an afternoon of social interaction with your peers. You will visit new destinations each week and indulge in lunch out on the town( Please bring $ 15- $ 20 to cover the cost of lunch each week). Sign up for all outings or the ones that interest you. Each outing has a separate transportation and program fee. A valid state-issued I. D. verifying your age as 21 or older is required each week. If you register for transportation, NSSRA will pick you up at home and drop you off after program. Goals: Enhance socialization with peers. Increase awareness of community leisure skills. Improve money management skills.

Movie & Lunch: April 5 Attention all movie lovers! Today we will spend a relaxing afternoon having lunch and then head to the theater to catch the latest flick! Comedy, romance, or horror … what movie will you choose? The group will be contacted with movie and lunch options prior to April 5. Options will be based on movie times and locations. Program fee includes movie admission.
Volo Automobile Museum: April 19 Start your engines because we ' re headed for the ultimate automobile experience! We will tour the Volo Automobile Museum’ s 33 car exhibits and grab some lunch at Show Biz Pizza. Program fee includes admission to the museum.
Bocce at Pinstripes: May 3 Calling all bocce lovers! This afternoon we will get together with our friends and enjoy a friendly game of bocce. After bocce we will enjoy a nice meal together. Program fee includes cost of bocce.
Morton Arboretum: May 17 With summer right around the corner, let’ s celebrate the season with a crowd favorite! The group will explore the Morton Arboretum and have lunch. Program fee includes admission.
