A Wonderful Celebration of Culture, Food, and Music
On September 6, the Bohemian Brick Hall in Glenville, MN, was filled with laughter and community spirit during the annual Czech Festival. BetterLife Members- Hayward, MN, organized the event, bringing friends, families, and neighbors together for a night of culture, food, and dancing.
Barefoot Becky and the Ivanhoe Dutchmen took the stage, playing energetic polka tunes that quickly filled the dance floor. People danced, mingled, and enjoyed the joyful atmosphere throughout the night.
Guests also participated in a silent auction featuring community donations that will help support future events at the hall. The star of the auction was a basket of homemade jams, pickles, and sauces made by local families. When the final bid came in at $ 500, the crowd erupted in cheers. As the evening drew to a close, everyone left feeling how special it is when a community comes together— sharing traditions, enjoying music, and creating lasting memories.
