Although CSA is now part of BetterLife, the CSA name, member groups, traditions, and events remain unchanged at this time. 5 Member groups will retain their names, signage, funding, and methods of serving local communities. Members can still expect their monthly CSA Journal, along with favorite programs, such as scholarships, recognition awards, traditional contests, and social events. These benefits will remain unchanged for at least a year. 6
CSA employees have joined the BetterLife staff, and John Kielczewski has begun his new role as Senior Vice President, Fraternal Development. One CSA director has joined the BetterLife Board of Directors, and the other CSA board members are eligible to join the BetterLife Member Advisory Board. 7
What’ s Next? The merger is now official, and the company will continue its focus on helping members adjust and ensuring everyone feels supported. A Listening Tour was launched in October, where leaders will travel to all the CSA groups to hear directly from members.
