improve in his chosen sport.
Improving at anything give you a shot
of dopamine which makes you feel good.
Second to last is to help others.
This is of course, once you’ve
already helped yourself. Yes, you can only help others to the degree
that you have taken care of yourself first.
I’ll let you in on a
little secret: the way the universe works is that the same door that
you give through is the same door you receive through.
I am not
saying this is the reason to give, but it should help to relax your
ego and perhaps scarcity mindset. There will come a day when you’ve
made it to great heights. Mark my words that you will want to help
others and to mentor others at that stage.
Finally, we come to a great mind map principal.
Reduce as many of
your daily decisions to routine wherever possible. The brain doesn’t
like having too many options.
Too many options leads you down the
hole of always wondering if another choice would have left you better
off. In order to create the life you want to live, you need to free
up as much headspace as possible to focus on the higher level stuff.
Many people, for example, want to eat for health, yet they haven’t
planned ahead, so they binge eat or stress eat because they haven’t
made that part of their life into a system yet.
If you fail to
follow this principle, you will always try to get things done with
will power, which will leave you feeling like a constant failure.
There you have it.
8 things that you can do every single in some form or another if you
want.
And if you do decide to do them, you will be in a state of
continual happiness.
Happiness is not something that you find out
over the rainbow.
If you start to study your brain, you will see
that happiness and all of its chemicals reside right between your two
ears.
