Charity 2017 Little Fighters Trust . 2017 Charitable Initiative Cheque Recipient We had the huge honour of presenting a donation to the Little Fighters Trust on behalf of Norwex last month. We worked together to put in an application, like many others, for Norwex to review and were seriously excited out of our skin to receive the massive donation cheque of $6000! As if that alone wasn’t already generous enough, we were able to select $2000 worth of products for the families of the Trust to use. We invited Sarah Silver and Darrin West to our meeting in New Plymouth to officially present them with the donations. Hayley and Mike Drew and their family were also invited to receive the donation on behalf of the Trust. The Drew family were kind enough to record a supporting message, for Norwex to see the direct impact that the Trust has for families. We were very thankful for them doing this because opening up about struggles and health issues can be emotional and personal. This donation brought out tears on the night and there weren’t a lot of dry eyes in the room after everyone spoke about the impact that Norwex and their donation would have for families in need in the Taranaki area. It is valuable timing coming up to Christmas and the needs of the families is huge. Sarah and Darrin were overwhelmed with appreciation. We were able to display the products selected and share why we chose them specifically for helping families radically reduce chemicals in the sterile hospital environments that they often find themselves in. Norwex are making a huge difference in this way! We all had a lovely night, meeting and sharing stories, and helping those who help others in need. It was a very empowering, humbling, experience, and one that we are both forever grateful to Norwex for. Kerri Jordan and Helen Fuller Executive Sales Leaders, New Plymouth 14
