Little Sprouts . 2017 Charitable Initiative Cheque Recipient
Little Sprouts Christchurch is a local branch of a
national charity that was set up to provide newborn
babies with the very best start in life. Since the
Christchurch branch was set up in June 2015, we have
provided 111 families with one of our life-changing
baby packs that provides everything a baby needs for
its first year. income, addiction or chronic health problems.
We work with charity partners to identify and support
families who would benefit from one of our packs. We
currently have nine charity partners in Christchurch
including Aviva, Barnardos, the Open Home
Foundation and Christchurch Women’s Hospital. By
providing a family with baby items and clothing, we
enable our charity partners to assist the family over
the long term with issues such as homelessness, low The generosity of everyone at Norwex means we
can continue to support vulnerable families in
Christchurch to give their baby the very best start
in life. ‘Thank you’ seems very inadequate, but your
generosity really will make a massive difference to so
many families over the next 12 months.
Each pack contains a year’s worth of clothing, books,
toys, bedding, safety equipment, feeding equipment,
toiletries and a gift for the main caregiver. If the family
need a safe sleeping space, we will provide them with
a cot or bassinet.
