aybe it was this desire to meet
those demands or to explore options
in an environment that was not a
formal internal report or high-level
staff meeting that set the tone for
the RedCabin Summit. For two full
days we heard from industry giants
focused on the topic of creating a
better customer experience, in a
room full of companies who would
identify themselves as competitors.
This was a true collaborative event.
We participated in workshops to
openly discuss current design and
ways to improve upon it. There was
also much discussion on futuristic
concepts not yet implemented in
current design.
The feeling that prevailed was that
we were “one group” of aerospace
industry professionals discussing
ways to make positive changes for
the millions and millions of daily
customers flying in commercial
aircraft.
