Marc Kovar have led the PBA in developing.
The association with Heritage Surgical Group exemplifies
the support out there for the union. Dr. Christodias stopped in
the middle of his round when he saw Kovar and Passaic Local
14 State Delegate Moe Farallo approach him on the course. A
handshake and a hug between Kovar and Farallo with the doc
and playing partners Michael Conn, Pete Caminiti and North-
ern Valley Local 233 member Ryan Kiley. Stavros explained why
he has stepped up support from the Bergen County Locals,
where his practice is located, to the state level.
“Marc and Pat have done a really good job of educating me
about the good things the PBA is doing and their overall in-
volvement,” Dr. Stavros explained. “And every time I saw a news
members, network and make new connections.”
Quick shout-out to the State PBA Executive Board members
and staff, who came out in force and had every detail planned,
right down to the sunscreen. Somehow, the PBA even managed
to procure a warm, sunshine-filled day, which haven’t exactly
been prevalent this spring.
“I’ve never played in anything like this,” admitted Wayne
Township Local 136 State Delegate Al Sangorski, who was part
of a foursome with Alterman, State Corrections Local 105 Vice
President Sean Sprich and PBA Legal Protection Plan Coordina-
tor Kevin Lyons. “When you play in something like this, you see
the brotherhood is alive. And that’s wonderful.”
Those who came out for this outing obviously did so first and
foremost to support the Survivor & Welfare Fund. But partici-
