Introducing Mrs Catterson !
Hi everyone - meet Mrs G Catterson - our new Art and Design teacher at Marr College ! I met with Mrs Catterson on a cold Tuesday morning at break in September . Although she is a new teacher to this school , she has been teaching for years .
Mrs Catterson is starting up a Crafts Club on a Monday after school ( 4pm - 5pm ) and a photography club on Tuesdays after school ( 4pm - 5pm .) All starting after the October Holidays .

Her last school was Kilmarnock Academy and she told me she worked closely with Mrs H Brown before coming to Marr ! Mrs Catterson is from Paisley , so she has a 45-minute drive to school every day . Mrs Catterson works on Mondays , Tuesdays and Wednesdays and on Thursdays , Fridays and Saturdays looks after her two young grandchildren , which she loves .
Mrs Catterson wanted to become an Art teacher because she loves the subject , design , and photography . Her favourite part about her job is the students and seeing what they can achieve , when they said they couldn ’ t do something .
In her spare time , Mrs Catterson does Ballroom and Latin dancing ! That is pretty cool !
