This is a full-time programme that will provide the learner with a broad introduction to Multimedia Design and Development .
Modules : Design Skills | Image Processing Animation | Multimedia Project Development Web Authoring | Multimedia Project Development Safety and Health at Work | Work Experience Communications
Entry Requirements : The course is aimed towards individuals who are over 21 years of age , are unemployed and have been getting certain Social Welfare payments for at least 6 months .
N . B . if you have been made unemployed / redundant due to COVID-19 you may be entitled to apply to VTOS .
Progression Options : This course can provide the learner with competencies to progress to QQI Level 6 programmes or Employment . This course provides relevant foundation skills for further study in areas like Computer Sciences , Multimedia , Digital Media , and Audio-Visual Studies . It is particularly valuable to those who are interested in pursuing a career in Web , Motion Graphics or Multimedia Industries such as Web Design , Multimedia Production , Digital Video Production , Graphic Design or new Media Technologies .
