This is a full-time programme that will provide the learner with skills for employment . This major award enables learners to obtain key transferrable skills that enable them to re-enter the labour market . Learners are supported in identifying relevant work experience and securing employment .
Modules : Communications | Mathematics Customer Service | Word Processing | Career Planning | Teamworking | Workplace Safety Work Experience
Entry Requirements : The course is aimed towards individuals who are over 21 years of age , are unemployed and have been getting certain Social Welfare payments for at least 6 months .
N . B . if you have been made unemployed / redundant due to COVID-19 you may be entitled to apply to VTOS .
Progression Options : This course can provide the learner with competencies to progress to QQI Level 5 programmes or Employment
