Unfortunately we lacked height this season and were playing against boys twice our
size. It became even more challenging for us when we lost our lock, our tallest player at the
beginning of the season.
Although what we lacked physically, the boys made up for in character, passion and desire.
The boys had a great attitude and were respectful to coaches, referees and their team mates
Playing in section one in this grade has been tough, but we believe the boys have gained
experience and better skills from playing in an higher, more competitive grade.
By the middle of the season our teams skills had increased so much that many games
became nail biters with points being very close.
Congratulations to the five boys who represented the East zone team: Kiarn Wilson, Ryan
Cherry, Caleb O’Halloran, James McCulloch and Regan Sheahan.
We would like to acknowledge our manager for her great work this year, finding
