Architects of the Philippines (UAP) as you hold your 37th National Convention.
This year’s event, with the theme “Reinventing S.O.A.: Service-Oriented
Architecture,” bespeaks your commitment to promote the highest standard
of excellence in the practice and service of the architectural profession.
As the only Accredited Professional Organization (APO) to receive the
Professional Regulation Commission’s Most APO Awards for three years, I
commend you for your continuous efforts to stay updated with the latest
trends in design, such as enterprise architecture, vernacular architecture,
virtual architecture, low-energy design architecture and public architecture.
Marrying tradition and progress in the use of space has become a
challenging task in recent years. May this occasion foster unity among your
ranks and inspire you to create more vibrant yet sustainable communities.
