I mentioned the upsurge in attendance at prize giving in my last report and I am pleased to see that this month was no different…I sincerely hope this trend continues. On another note, I was fortunate enough to attend Easterns 40th Anniversary at Benoni Country Club on the 18th and 19th of May and would like to congratulate Mark Ablett and Easterns on a spectacular event. We have a couple more Anniversaries coming up later in the year and the dates for various Nationals will also be in the Newsletter. Natal, in recent years, aren’t renown as a club that travels but if you are able to I would like to urge you to try and attend some of these events, the camaraderie and Nomadic spirit is amazing.
